RECC is a nonprofit organization based in Indian Head, MD. Our mission is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through literacy based programming. We believe that literacy and reading play a major role in shaping the life of today’s youth. It is our hope that youth in Indian Head, MD and surrounding areas develop a true love for reading. We hope to be that spark that ignites a true passion.

Our vision is divided into three integral programs:

By providing greater, more equitable book access in our community we know that youth and families will reap the benefits.
